Ideas Shaped Into Visual Impact.

Project Title: Jst Mve Fitness Logo and Brand Identity
Client/ Organization: China Harris-JST MVE Fitness
Result
China approved and loved the final logo design. The finished identity gave her fitness business a sleek, personal, and recognizable visual style. The apparel mockups also allowed her to visualize how the brand could be used beyond the primary logo and applied across fitness clothing, promotional materials, and digital platforms.
Challenge
The primary challenge was developing a logo that felt personal to China while remaining clean, recognizable, and versatile enough to work across different applications. The design needed to communicate movement and fitness without appearing overly complicated or too similar to other fitness brands.
Another challenge was creating visual balance between the moving silhouette, the shortened “JST MVE” name, and the complete “Just Move” slogan. Each element needed to remain readable while working together as one unified identity.

Project Overview
Fitness coach China Harris contacted me to create a logo that represented her personality, movement, and fitness business. Her slogan, “Just Move,” encourages people to become active and make movement part of their everyday lives. I collaborated with China to understand the look, message, and energy she wanted the brand to communicate. The final identity featured the name “JST MVE,” supported by the complete “Just Move” slogan and a custom silhouette designed to represent her body in motion.
Creative Approach
I worked closely with China to develop a visual direction that reflected her personality and fitness philosophy. We selected a silhouette based on the movement of her body, creating a personal and energetic representation of the coach behind the brand. I placed the silhouette within a partial circular shape to create a sense of motion while leaving enough open space for the typography. The semicircle helped frame the design without making the logo feel enclosed or visually heavy.
For the brand name, China wanted to remove the “U” from “Just” and the “O” from “Move,” resulting in the distinctive name “JST MVE.” I placed the complete phrase “Just Move” below the shortened name so the meaning remained clear to the audience. The final design used clean typography, strong visual hierarchy, and a streamlined composition. I also created workout-apparel mockups so China could see how the logo would look on fitness clothing and understand how the identity could work across multiple brand applications.

Project Title: Michael Kinder & Sons Corporate One-Sheet Redesign
Client/ Organization: Michael Kinder & Sons
Results
The completed redesign replaced the company’s previous one-sheet with a more modern and visually engaging piece of marketing collateral. The new design gave Michael Kinder & Sons a polished document that could be used to introduce the company, explain its integrated services, support business-development conversations, and communicate its experience to prospective clients.
Creative Approach
I used a restrained brutalist-inspired style to give the one-sheet a bold, contemporary appearance while preserving Michael Kinder & Sons’ corporate identity. The established Gotham typeface, brand colors, logo, photography, and messaging were retained for consistency. Large headlines and contrasting font weights created a clear reading order, particularly in the “Building Better, Faster, Smarter” headline.
Strong borders, oversized numbers, rectangular panels, overlapping elements, and images extending beyond their containers added depth and energy. The first page highlights three primary MKS differentiators through large numbered sections and contrasting red and gray panels.
The second page uses an asymmetrical layout to explain the company’s Plan-Design-Build process through a clear vertical progression. Project imagery, leadership photography, company information, and a prominent call to action complete the piece. The final design modernized the company’s presentation while remaining unmistakably Michael Kinder & Sons.

Project Overview
While employed as the Digital Marketing Specialist at Michael Kinder & Sons, I was entrusted with redesigning the company’s existing corporate one-sheet. The original document needed a more contemporary and visually engaging presentation that could better communicate MKS’s experience, integrated services, and value to prospective clients.
I created a new two-page design that maintained the company’s established red, black, gray, and white color palette while introducing a stronger visual hierarchy and a more modern editorial layout. The redesigned collateral presents MKS’s key differentiators, Plan-Design-Build process, company history, services, project imagery, leadership, and contact information in a polished and easy-to-navigate format.

Project Title: Milford Elementary Ribbon-Cutting Program
Client/ Organization:Michael Kinder & Sons
Result
The ribbon-cutting program successfully combined the school district’s identity with an organized and engaging event schedule. The design was well received by the project partners and helped create a cohesive visual experience for the students, speakers, families, and community members attending the ceremony.
The architect partnered on the Milford Elementary project was especially impressed with the design and requested the editable project files so the visual concept could be adapted into a commemorative bookmark. The bookmarks were created as gifts for the students who participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, extending the design beyond the original program and giving the students a keepsake from the event.
Challenge
The primary challenge was designing a program that appealed to elementary school students while remaining professional enough for school administrators, architects, construction partners, and community leaders.
The program also needed to organize multiple speakers and scheduled activities in a way that guests could understand quickly. Rather than presenting the schedule as a plain list, I needed to create a visual system that made each speaker’s time easy to locate while maintaining an engaging and cohesive layout.
Creative Approach
I developed the program around the school district’s green and yellow color palette to create an immediate connection between the design and the Milford Elementary community. The bright colors gave the piece an energetic and celebratory appearance that felt appropriate for an event involving students.
I created a tab-based schedule system that separated the ceremony into individual time slots. Each tab clearly identified when a speaker or activity would take place, making the program easy for guests to scan and follow throughout the ceremony.
The tabs also introduced a playful visual element that reflected the school setting without making the design feel overly childish. I balanced these elements with clean typography, structured spacing, and clear information hierarchy so the finished program remained polished and professional.
The final design created a welcoming experience for students while still representing the quality and importance of the newly completed construction project.
Project Overview
While employed at Michael Kinder & Sons, I was asked to design the event program for the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the new Milford Elementary School.
Because students would be attending and participating in the ceremony, I wanted the program to feel more welcoming, energetic, and connected to the school environment than a traditional corporate event document. The finished piece used the school district’s green and yellow colors and organized the ceremony schedule into clearly defined time tabs.
The design celebrated the students while still providing administrators, project partners, speakers, families, and community members with a professional and easy-to-follow event program.

Project Title: Kricely Affordable Performance Rebrand Concept
Client/ Organization: Spec / Concept Work
Project Overview
A self-initiated brand repositioning concept for Kricely, an affordable footwear brand available through mass-market retailers such as Walmart.
The challenge I gave myself was simple: How can an affordable shoe look and feel like a more contemporary, trend-driven footwear brand without losing the accessibility of its price point?
Rather than changing the product itself, I focused on changing how the product was presented through stronger art direction, typography, product composition, campaign messaging, and digital marketing
Campaign System
Rather than designing one standalone advertisement, I explored how the refreshed visual direction could work across multiple points in a customer's buying journey.
E-Commerce / Product Promotion
Created a conversion-focused digital product graphic featuring prominent product photography, promotional pricing, original-versus-sale price treatment, and a clear Add to Cart call to action.
The "MOVE FREE" messaging gives the product a more energetic lifestyle position while allowing the shoe itself to dominate the composition.
Email Marketing
Developed a promotional email concept focused on product durability and a 20% discount.
This variation demonstrates how the campaign could shift from primarily lifestyle-driven messaging to product-benefit messaging while maintaining the same brand direction.
Advertising / Poster Design
Created a trail-focused advertising concept around the message:
BUILT 2 GO FURTHER
The shoe was placed within a more rugged environment to connect the product visually with outdoor performance, durability, and everyday use.

Creative Approach
The concept was built around maintaining Kricely's value proposition while elevating its perceived brand value. Instead of trying to make the footwear appear like a luxury product, I developed a more energetic, performance-oriented visual identity influenced by contemporary athletic and streetwear advertising.
Bold typography, oversized product imagery, vibrant color, strong contrast, and cleaner layouts were used to make the shoes feel more current and competitive. The affordable price remained an important part of the campaign. The goal was to communicate:
Trend-forward design doesn't have to come with a premium price.

Project Title: Movado Bold Concept Advertising Project
Client/ Organization: Spec / Concept Work
Project Overview
A self-initiated advertising concept inspired by Movado's BOLD watch collection. The objective was to create a premium product advertisement built around the name BOLD, making the product itself an integral part of the visual concept rather than simply placing the watch within a traditional product ad.
Creative Process
The original Movado product photography was isolated and composited into a completely new advertising environment in Adobe Photoshop. The design was built using multiple editable layers for the product, typography, background, masks, effects, call-to-action elements, and supporting copy.
Lighting and tonal adjustments were used to integrate the watch into the environment while maintaining the dark, minimal aesthetic associated with the product.
The Concept
The central idea was to visually connect the product to the word BOLD. I used oversized typography as the foundation of the composition and positioned the watch so that its circular face and bezel visually function as the “O” in BOLD. This allowed the product to become part of the headline while remaining the main focal point of the advertisement.
The result combines typography, product imagery, and compositing into a single visual idea.
